The Sound Of Shildon - On A Great CD

We were part of the Citizen Songwriters collaboration project Songs of Shildon.

At the beginning of 2022 the singers worked with Citizen Songwriters to perform in a recording session as a contribution towards a community songwriting project "Cradle of the Railways" - and the results were captured as a special recording. The music is being released on Friday 15 July across all music platforms.

The songs were recorded earlier this year at Shildon Railway Institute. They bring alive stories from the community workshops we ran with the Railway Institute and the Friends of Stockton & Darlington Railway last summer.
